A locally owned home and property services business

Cornerstone Property Care is a small, locally owned business based right here in Haymarket, Virginia. We handle exterior cleaning, landscaping, handyman and interior repairs, holiday lighting, junk removal, and snow removal for homeowners across western Prince William County.

We started Cornerstone for one reason: most homeowners are tired of juggling three or four different contractors, chasing each one for a call back, and wondering whether the crew that shows up will actually do the work properly the first time. The people who hire us hire one team, with one phone number, that takes responsibility for the whole list.

Family-run, neighbor-owned

Cornerstone is owned and operated by Dylan Potter, with his son Sebastian working the projects alongside him. Dylan and his family live in Dominion Valley Country Club in Haymarket, so our community is genuinely our community — many of our customers are people we already see at the pool, at the clubhouse, or at the school pickup line. We take that personally, and we behave like it.

That neighborly footprint is one of the reasons our standards are higher than a national chain dispatching crews from forty miles away. If a job is not finished right, we are still going to see you at Giant on Saturday.

What we believe about home services

• Show up when you say you will. The single most common complaint about contractors in Northern Virginia is no-shows and ghosted quotes. We do not do either.
• Quote honestly. No bait-and-switch, no “discovered work” surprises mid-job. The price we give you is the price you pay.
• Respect the property. We protect plants, finishes, and pavers. We pick up after ourselves. We leave the property cleaner than we found it.
• Communicate. If a project changes, you hear from us the same day. Not a week later.
• Work HOA-aware. Dominion Valley, Piedmont, Evergreen, and Heritage Hunt all have architectural standards. We work to them the first time so you do not get a violation letter.

Our service area

Our service area is intentionally small. We serve Dominion Valley Country Club, Piedmont Country Club, Evergreen Country Club, Heritage Hunt, the Town of Haymarket, and Gainesville.

Licensing and insurance

Cornerstone Property Care is locally licensed in Prince William County, Virginia. We keep handyman and repair work properly scoped to stay inside Virginia regulatory limits, and we work with licensed general contractors when a project calls for more.
