Tree Trimming & Tree Removal in Haymarket & Gainesville

Tree Trimming & Tree Removal in Haymarket & Gainesville

Trimming, limb removal, and small-to-medium tree removal — cut, hauled, and disposed of. Storm-downed trees a specialty.

Limbs scraping the roof, a dead tree leaning over the fence, or a storm-downed trunk lying across the yard — trees are one of those jobs most homeowners in Haymarket and Gainesville put off because it means a chainsaw, a truck, and a Saturday they’d rather spend any other way. We take it off your plate.

Cornerstone Property Care handles tree trimming and tree removal for small and medium trees across Haymarket, Gainesville, Dominion Valley, Piedmont Country Club, Heritage Hunt, and Evergreen Country Club. Storm-downed trees are a specialty. For very large or hazardous standing trees near homes or power lines, we’ll point you to a licensed climbing crew — we focus on the work we can do safely and do it well.

Tree trimming & limb removal

  • Clearance pruning — limbs cut back off your roof, siding, gutters, and walkways
  • Deadwood removal — dead and broken branches cleared before they fall on their own
  • Canopy raising — low limbs lifted over driveways, walkways, and yards
  • Shaping and thinning — for ornamentals and smaller trees that have gotten away from you
  • HOA-driven trims — overhang and clearance issues flagged by Dominion Valley, Piedmont, and Heritage Hunt reviews

Small & medium tree removal

We remove small and medium trees — cut down, cut up, hauled off, and disposed of. The trunk is cut flush to the ground (stump grinding is a separate add-on through a partner if you want the stump gone). You’re left with a clean spot, not a mess.

Storm-downed trees — our specialty

A tree that’s already down is what we do best. The dangerous part — the fall — is over, so it comes down to cutting it up, hauling it out, and disposing of it. If a storm dropped a tree in your yard, see our storm damage cleanup page or just call us — we’ll handle the whole thing.

Want the firewood?

If it’s a hardwood worth burning, we can cut the trunk to firewood lengths and stack it for you instead of hauling it off — a lot of our neighbors would rather keep the wood. Your call. Either way the brush and branches get cleaned up and removed.
